Soprano Bronwyn Douglas
Our very own South Coast soprano, Bronwyn Douglass will be performing for you on 1 October!
Bronwyn began working with Opera Australia in January 2020. She made her solo concert debut for Opera Australia in March 2022, stepping in to perform the role of Anna Kennedy in Donizetti’s Maria Stuarda in Concert. She also performed as a Page in Wagner’s Lohengrin (Melbourne 2022) and will understudy the role of Sieglinde in Wagner’s Die Walküre in Brisbane, December 2023. Bronwyn is, currently, on a European tour.
Bronwyn will be joined by mezzo soprano Genevieve Dickson and tenor Iain Henderson.
Genevieve has performed title roles with Victorian Opera and Melbourne Opera Company and lead chorus roles with Australian Opera.
Tenor Iain Henderson has performed a number of title roles with Opera Australia including “Pang” in Turandot and “Don Jose” in Carmen.
Accompanist Bradley Gilchrist is no stranger to MUM having been the first pianist ever to use our piano in the first ever concert presented by MUM back in 2013.
This concert is sure to include at least one of your favourite arias from the operatic repertoire.
